This is a subscription to all things Project Rebox.
A utility Ive built with geometry nodes inside Blender using my procedural modeling methods, that automatically generates customized 3D models of storage containers made from 3D printed components for the corner brackets, and laser cut used cardboard as the wall panels, that can be produced in a fraction of the time and barely any material cost compared to 3D printing and even other manufacturing methods.
You will get:
A newsletter with detailed and advanced insight into the progress of the project and the node-based techniques used to create
early access to new versions and freebie downloads
privileged input in new features
full documentation and tutorials
UPDATES:
4 MAY 2025 - EXPORT FIX!!
- New .Blend File - REBOX EXPORT add-on
Blender can be kind of annoying about exporting to SVG. And having multiple exports to be output from one geometry node tree can be a hassle.
I've fixed both those things with one handy little script-
Now just specify an output folder and hit "Export Bin" (with the bin object selected) and it'll output bot the .stl for the 3D printed parts and .svg for the laser cut lines into the bins own folder!
This add-on is also rough and will be evolving with the project!
2 MAY 2025 - All Bonus Gridfinity stuff
40+ new STLs added! A LOT more gridfinity bins and grids
Updated .Blend file for Dojo Gridfinity procedurally generated grids and gridfinity bins.
Improved glue injection points for easier gluing with a wider range of glue guns
Added Magnetic insert cavities to Gridfinity Bins
Vastly improved the grid stacking feature! Now stacks consistently large grids to small and aligned to the lower left corner for easy printing
Every other grid in the stack inverts orientation for better stacking now
